Providing peace of mind for family and residents
At Brooklands, it always makes us proud to hear that our care has given a family back their peace of mind, providing reassurance that their loved one is happy and safe. In order to give the best possible care, we use a variety of ways to regularly gather feedback from our residents and those closest to them. We listen intently to our residents and their family members in our anonymous annual survey. We deeply value their feedback and it is used to continually improve our service.
This is the heart-warming response to our 2024/2025 survey.
Compassionate, personalised care

Our skilled team receives on-going training and support so they can provide the high-quality dementia care that residents deserve. We’re delighted that 100% of relatives say team members treat their relative/friend with kindness and compassion. One family member told us: “I am very happy with the care received which is excellent. Staff genuinely care and are professional and respectful at all times.
Kindness, dignity and respect

100% of residents say their religious and cultural needs are supported and the home is clean, tidy and looked after. It is important to us that we extend support to families, so we were pleased that 100% of relatives said that they are made to feel welcome when they visit their loved one. One relative told us: “Since moving to Brooklands in Drayton my husband and I have been made to feel very much part of the ‘Brooklands family’, something we are very grateful for.
A happy home

Our home encourages friendships and connections through a variety of meaningful activities. 93% of residents said they are supported to take part in activities and hobbies. One resident said: “I’m very happy to be able to join in activities.”
